TRANSLATION:
[4:4]
Do not give the feeble-minded (orphans) your property that Allah has made a means of support for you, and do feed them from it,
and clothe them, and speak to them in fair words.
INTERPRETATION:
Give women their dower in good cheer. Then, if they forego some of it, of their own will, you may have it as pleasant
and joyful.
[4:5]
[4:5]
INTERPRETATION:
{5} In this verse some responsibilities of
the guardians of orphans have been laid out that, on the one hand, they should
handle the assets of orphans extremely carefully considering them to be Amanah
(having been entrusted with something), and, on the other hand, they should
handover these assets to the orphans only after they have gained sufficient
maturity to look after their estate well and to spend their money wisely. If
they demand for their estate before that time they should be counselled wisely.
