SURAH AN-NISA (WOMEN): 31

TRANSLATION:

[4:31]
 If you abstain from the major (sins) out of what you have been forbidden from, We shall write off your minor sins {26}, and shall admit you to a noble entrance.

INTERPRETATION:

{26} This verse means that if a person abstains from major sins (گناہِ کبیرہ) then Allah Ta’alah keeps forgiving his minor sins  (گناہِ صغیرہ)by Himself. It comes at other places in Quran and Hadith that a person’s minor sins keep getting forgiven by every good deed he commits such as Wudu (ablution), Salah, Sadaqah, etc.
