FULFILLING RIGHTS OF OTHERS
BRINGS PEACE
The
people who are generally considered close relatives, for example, brother
sister, parents, child, husband, wife, aunt, uncle, Allah Ta’alah has specified
certain special rights for these relatives. If a person discharges these rights
properly, then it brings peace and harmony to their life. Violations of these
rights result in conflicts, fights, hatred, discord and court cases. If
everyone fulfills the rights of their relatives properly, then there shall be
no discord. That is why Allah Ta’alah has commanded that if you fulfill your relatives’
rights, then your life will become peaceful. A family unit is the core of any
society. If a family is not united and there is no love between family members,
then it impacts the whole society adversely. That is why Allah Ta’alah has
commanded us to fulfill our relatives’ rights fully, and to treat them well.
