After narrating the Hadith above the Holy Prophet ﷺ said, “If you wish read this verse
of the Holy Quran in which, addressing human beings, Allah Ta’alah said,
“So, (O hypocrites,) do you not
apprehend that, in case you turn away, you will spread disorder in the land and
will sever your ties of kinship? Those are the ones whom Allah has cursed; so
He has made them deaf, and made their eyes blind.” (47:23-24)
Allah Ta’alah has issued such a
strict warning for those who sever ties of kinship.
