TRANSLATION:
[3:180]
Those who withhold in miserliness what Allah has given them out of His grace should not take it as good for them. Instead, it is bad for them. They shall be forced, on the Doomsday, to put on what they withheld, as iron-collars round their necks. {61} To Allah belongs the inheritance of the heavens and the earth. Allah is All-Aware of what you do.
INTERPRETATION:

They shall be forced, on the Doomsday, to put on what they withheld, as iron-collars round their necks. {61} To Allah belongs the inheritance of the heavens and the earth. Allah is All-Aware of what you do.
INTERPRETATION:
{61} The miserliness which has been
declared Hara’am (unlawful) is the one in which a person does not spend his
wealth where Allah Ta’alah has ordered him to spend, for example, not paying
Zakat. The wealth that a person gathers in that manner will be put around his
neck in the form of a necklace on Doomsday (Qiyamah). The Holy Prophet ﷺ has elaborated upon
this in a Hadith that such wealth will be placed around its owner’s neck after
being converted into a poisonous snake which will hold his cheeks and say, “I
am your wealth! I am the treasure that you have accumulated!”
