HADIYAH
(هدیه) IS THE PUREST FORM OF HALAL INCOME

Shafi Rehmatullah Elaih used to say that a Muslim’s gift to another Muslim,
when he has given it purely to make his brother happy and to please Allah Ta’alah,
and without any intention of earning praise or fame, is the purest form of
Halal income in this world. This is because when a person earns for himself it
is possible that he may have made a mistake or may have been neglectful in some
area, but there is no doubt about the purity of a gift a Muslim brother brings
with sincerity for his brother
